Lincoln Centre Campus to Host Two-Night Festival of Books and Poetry

Screenshot 2014-04-30 11.57.50Join the History Graduate Student Association on May 15 & 16 for a two-night, end-of-semester event bringing together poets from Spain and New York City for the transnational Poetas por Km² festival.

Both nights will be held in the 3rd Floor Lounge in Lowenstein at the Fordham Lincoln Center Campus.
15 May, 7pm– The materiality of binding books! The international arts collective and publisher Meninas Cartoneras will teach participants to create and bind personalized books of poetry, featuring the work of the invited poets.  While we will provide materials, we encourage you to bring your own used cardboard, scrap paper, magazines, and photos to personalize your book.
16 May, 8pm– Join us for night of poetry in both Spanish and English, featuring Guillermo FésserClaire DonatoMaría Salgado,Urayoán Noel and Josep Pedrals.  Light snacks will be served.
