Joe Passaro, a first year PhD in History at Fordham, has just been selected to serve for a one-year term on the Council for European Studies’ online publication “Reviews & Critical Commentary,” or CritCom.

CritCom is a research-based online forum for recent developments pertaining to the study of European history, society, and politics. The site features book reviews, opinion pieces, briefings on recent events, and other special features on thematic issues of interest to Europeanists.
As part of the Critcom Editorial Committee, Joe will be working with one or two other graduate students in History to provide content for CritCom by identifying new and relevant books of interest as well as reviewers for those books. Joe will also coordinate non-review content (including conference write-ups, roundtables on topics of relevance to the study of Europe, and/or new resource write-ups, among others) related to his areas of interest.
